The managua city dump. It is estimated that 175 families still live on the dump. Project Chacocente 1 has taken eight families off the dump and tonight, five families graduate the program. Words can never describe what I walked through and saw at the dump yesterday.
The picture of the mom and little boy walking along in the dump... the picture of the people lined up waiting for the two trash trucks to dump their loads - waiting for today's meal...more than a 1000 words in those photos. We printed and posted all photos at church yesterday. Folks stood a long time looking at them.
